Nature of issue: A previously reported issue impacting journey triggers was resolved. This issue started on August 9th 2024 at 01:00 am GMT +1 and a fix was deployed at August 9th 2024 at 11:15 GMT +1. The fix has resolved the issue and we have continued to monitor the situation until now.

The issue is resolved. The slowness was due to an unexpected infrastructure load on the primary database. The reason for that load was identified and removed.

The team identified the inbox stats caching query as causing the unexpected lock and took immediate steps to improve the query execution.
